HP Profile

Hello friends in this post i am going to tell about one of the largest technology solution providers HP. Here in this post you will found how company was established, who was the founder of company, its test pattern and package that it offers in different colleges.

Profile:-Begin with the establishment of HP, HP was founded by Stanford University classmates Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard in 1939.The name HP was given on the last name of both these founders. The company's first product that it made was the built in a Palo Alto garage, was an audio oscillator—an electronic test instrument used by sound engineers.The first client of this company was Walt Disney Studios, which purchased eight oscillators to develop and test an innovative sound system for the movie Fantasia.

Now a days HP is a technology solution provider to consumers, businesses and institutions globally.The company's offerings span IT infrastructure, personal computing and access devices, global services and imaging and printing for consumers, enterprises and small and medium businesses.HP established a presence in Asia Pacific in 1963 when the first office was set up in Japan. Today, we have more than 26,000 employees in this region with operations in 14 countries – Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

Test Pattern:- HP examination test is conducted in 3 rounds as following:
1.Written Test:-It consists of 80 questions and 75 mins are available to you.These 80 questions are further divided into two parts of 40-40 questions each.
-->First 40 questions are subjects from CSE(Computer Science Engineering), these subjects include OS(Important),FAFL,DBMS,SS,UNIX(only 2 que),c++,Network(Basic).
-->Next 40 questions include 20 questions from c and 20 questions from Aptitude+English+Logical
2.Technical Interview:-In the technical interview they mainly asked questions from C,C++,Java.If you had a project then mention it in your resume it will increase chance of your selection.
3.HR Interview:-It is said by the experience persons that it is the only formality round.The HR interview pattern is as follows:
i. Tell aboutt your self.
ii. They will ask for the subjects in which we are strong
( Here they will consider the ranking that we written during written
examination & marks we got in written exam)
iii. Mostly the interview time will be 45 minutes around (for only
people there is about 1.5 hr)
iv. HR questions may include here
v. Good thing is They r friendly and cooperative so confidence place
role.

3.Package:- The package that HP offers in different colleges is in the range of 3 and 3.5 lac per annum.
